Pangbourne Playground

If you would like this blog as a free app, it is available to download, for free, here.

This is a lovely playground. There is plenty to amuse yourselves in Pangbourne; the river, pubs, a coffee shop/ cafe and a nice gift shop. It is, of course accessible by rail, too. If you want to drive, the recreation ground is well signposted as you come over the toll bridge. The car park is big and there is also - the Holy Grail - a PUBLIC LOO!

The playground has a variety of equipment for big and small children, lots of seats but not much shade. You can access the river front through a gate next to the park.

The Toll charge is 40p. Here's a link to the bridge's page. Perhaps I have been indoctrinated by my husband in his ex-civil engineering capacity but I think it's a beautiful bridge.

Take the first left after the bridge. Turn left again and then turn into the car park.
